This spring it will be finally available the third-generation of Smart Fortwo electric.
Assembled in the French plant, will be distributed in over thirty markets, including Italy at a price of 19,900 Euros, excluding VAT.
If you decide to choose the Battery Rental Service (at a price of 54 euros a month), you can buy it at 15,900 euros, excluding VAT.

The new battery-powered smart will not only be an evolution of the existing model but will improve fuel consumption, noise and all the efficiency squeezing an eye to environment preservation.
The new batteries gives a power of 17.6 kWh and are produced by the Deutsche Accumotive.
They allow about 140 miles with zero emissions, all without sacrificing speed.
The new engine will allow you to exceed 120 km/h and accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h in 5 seconds. A full battery recharge need a maximum of 8 hours from any domestic socket while having a more immediate charge you can choose the special function that allows you to have a full charge in less than 1 hour with a 22 kW on-board charger.
